Antimicrobial FeaturesOur entire line of EFT POS, touchscreen and keyboard protective covers are infused with an inorganic, silver-based, broad-spectrum biocide additive. This additive gives the splash covers antibacterial abilities.
Each Wetcover splash cover contains a certain concentration of silver contained within our patented active antimicrobial agent. Silver ions are released on demand by this agent, which safely stops microbial growth. In addition, it has superb temperature stability (>600°C), making every product ideal for thermoset resin systems without negatively impacting the physical characteristics.
Additives used in our covers have an amount of silver ten times greater than that of other silver biocides, so only low concentrations are necessary. Demonstrations show that in 24 hours, products with lower additive levels stop 99.99 percent of bacteria growth. Long-term activity is maximized by the active silver ingredient, which is released in a controlled manner.
Product Performance
The Wetcover line of protective splash covers produced by our company have been thoroughly examined. Their ability to fight against microbial growth has been tested on more than 50 common organisms like Aspergillus Niger, E.coli, Listeria, MRSA, Pseudomonas and Salmonella.
